"Bi' se mac an t' Slaurie" pre standardized gaelic meaning “Take control of the chain”, referring to the hearth chain that held the cooking pot. The deeper meaning is open to ones interpretation. Perhaps a quote from Ossian? It is not found in the Bible.

This
is a compendium of my research of the surname McLaurin, McLaren,
McLerran, McClaren and all the assorted variations in spelling and
pronunciation. It contains the few published primary contemporaneous
documents that pertains to primarily men with the surname. This book
is not a history of 'Clan MacLaren', that was created by the Lyon
Court in 1957. So an ‘ancient’ clan, by no means, Many of the
documents directly contradict much of the Clan MacLaren account, much
to the chagrin of a handful of the clan chief's courtiers.
